Orval Einer Larsen, son of Niels Emil and Ruby Gladys (Reynolds) Larsen, was born January 31, 1922 in Steuben, Wisconsin. He married Edna Marie Curtis November 5, 1943. He registered for the draft June 30, 1942 and was inducted into the Army September 8, 1942 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was a Light Truck Driver in Headquarters Battery, 127th Field Artillery Battalion. Pfc Orval E Larsen was killed in action April 20, 1945 in the vicinity of Cobbel, Germany. He is buried at Pleasant Mound Cemetery, Easter Rock, Wisconsin.
