Pvt Yulek Anton

Company A - 134th Infantry Regiment

Yulek Anton, the son of Andrew and Victoria Zavada Anton, was born in New York on March 3, 1912. He married Helen Delinsky on July 17, 1933, and they had 5 children. He was inducted into the Army on March 22, 1944, and joined Company A on September 20, 1944.

Pvt Yulek Anton was killed in action on October 1, 1944 while fighting in the Gremecey Forest, northeast of Nancy, France.  He is buried at the Lorraine American Cemetery in St. Avold, France.
