Luther H Lee, son of Luther L and Georgia H Lee, was born in Georgia on February 21, 1921. He was inducted into the Army January 9, 1943 at Atlanta, Georgia and served as an Automatic Rifleman in the First Platoon, Company C, 134th Infantry Regiment. He landed on Omaha Beach, Normandy, France July 5, 1944. Pfc Luther H Lee was Killed in Action on July 17, 1944 during the battle for St Lo, France. He is buried at Sandy Springs United Methodist Cemetery, Sandy Springs, Georgia. Odell, Nebraska.
