134th Infantry Regiment - Company F

James Earl Light, son of Wayne and Mona Light, was born in 1922 in Tennessee. He and his wife Mable had a daughter, Brenda Faye. He was inducted into the Army December 30, 1943 at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia and served as a Rifleman in Company F, 134th Infantry Regiment. Pfc James E Light was seriously wounded in action November 13, 1944 in the vicinity of Achain, France. He died of his wounds November 21, 1944. He is buried at Morrison Cemetery, Hawkins County, Tennessee.
