Robert Warren Martin, son of Howard Theodore and Cora Belle (Warren) Martin, was born 1920 in Michigan. He was inducted into the Army July 5, 1940 at Detroit, Michigan. He joined Company B, 134th Infantry Regiment as a Rifleman from the 26th Infantry Division December 16, 1944 while the unit was in the vicinity of Folpersviller, France. Pvt Robert W Martin was killed in action by enemy small arms fire in the vicinity of Marvie, Belgium. He is buried at Luxembourg American Cemetery, Hamm, Luxembourg.
