Pfc Clyde M McClain was born in Georgia in 1909. He was inducted into the Army on January 8, 1943 at Fort McPherson, Atlanta, Georgia. He served as a Rifleman in the Second Platoon, Company A, 134th Infantry Regiment. He was Killed in Action October 1, 1944. At the time of his death, the 35th Infantry Division was fighting in the vicinity of Han, France.
