Louis James Miceli, son of Giuseppe and Francesca Miceli, was born November 25, 1919 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was inducted into the Army July 24, 1943. He served as a Light Machine Gunner in the Weapons Platoon, Company L, 134th Infantry Regiment. He was Killed in Action July 18, 1944 in the battle at St Lo, France. Pvt Louis J Miceli is buried at Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France.
