134th Infantry Regiment - Company C

Raymond Ogden, son of Harold and Katherine (Hagy) Ogden, was born June 22, 1918 in Landsdowne, Pennsylvania. He registered for the draft on October 16, 1940. His draft record lists him as 5' 11 1/4" tall, weighing 170 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes, and a ruddy complexion. He was inducted into the Army June 4, 1942 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 2nd Lt Raymond Ogden served as Commander of the Second Platoon, Company C, 134th Infantry Regiment. He was Killed in Action July 15, 1944 during the battle for St Lo, France. He is buried at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
