Lester Earl Stull, son of George Earl and Annie Mae (Covell) Stull, was born April 30, 1920 in Yellow Springs, Maryland. He married Charlotte Elizabeth Rice on October 7, 1939. He registered for the draft July 1, 1941. At the time he was working as a nickel plater at the Eveready Battery Company in Frederick, Maryland. He was inducted into the Army July 31, 1943 at Baltimore, Maryland and served as an Ammunition Handler in the Weapons Platoon, Company K, 134th Infantry Regiment. Pfc Lester E Stull was killed in action July 18, 1944 during the battle for St Lo, France. He is buried at Mount Olive Cemetery, Frederick, Maryland.
