Donald Merwin Wilson, son of Rollie Oral and Lorene M (Deal) Wilson, was born April 26, 1921 in Marion, Indiana. He registered for the draft February 16, 1942. At that time he was working at Midwest Paper Company in Marion. He joined Company B, 134th Infantry Regiment from the 26th Infantry Division on December 16, 1944 and served as a Squad Leader. He was killed in action in the vicinity of Lutrebois, Belgium on January 3, 1945. Sgt Donald M Wilson is buried at Estates of Serenity Cemetery in Marion, Indiana.
