137th Infantry Regiment - Company I

Ralph Heaton Johnson, son of Heaton Whitfield and Annie (Cole) Johnson was born December 31, 1919. He lived in Opelika, Alabama and attended Clift High School there. He served in Company I, 137th Infantry Regiment and was Killed in Action during the battle for St Lo, France on July 14, 1944. 1st Lt Ralph H Johnson is buried at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Randolph County, Alabama.
