Clarence Christopher Little, son of Christopher and Mary (Littley) Little, was born August 25, 1907. He married Beatrice Mitchell October 12, 1927 and the couple had a son, Robert. He was inducted into the Army January 3, 1944 at Fort Douglas, Utah and attended basic training at Camp Wheeler, Georgia before departing for the ETO in July 1944. He joined Company L, 137th Infantry Regiment as a Rifleman from the 48th Replacement Battalion August 11, 1944 when the unit was in the vicinity of Mortain, France. Pfc Clarence C Little was killed in action September 25, 1944 in the vicinity of Gremecey, France. He is buried at Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery, Salt Lake City, Utah.
