137th Infantry Regiment - Cannon Company

Audie Richard Mosley, son of Audie James and Ethel (Iseminger) Mosley, was born August 18, 1919 in Wichita, Kansas. He registered for the draft October 16, 1940, served in Cannon Company, 137th Infantry Regiment, and landed at Omaha Beach, Normandy France July 9, 1944. Cpl Audie R Mosley was killed in action July 11, 1944 in the vicinity of La Meauffe just north of St Lo, France and was posthumously awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge August 2, 1944. He is buried at Maple Grove Cemetery, Wichita, Kansas.
