137th Infantry Regiment - Company L

Ronald Dale Musgrave, son of Closs Gerald and Reba Mae (Neidig) Musgrave, was born October 26, 1925 in Marion, Ohio. He was inducted into the Army March 11, 1944 at Fort Thomas, Newport, Kentucky. He joined Company L, 137th Infantry Regiment December 8, 1944 as a Rifleman from the 17th Replacement Battalion while the unit was in the vicinity of Neufgrange, France. He was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge February 1 and promoted to Private First Class February 3, 1945. Pfc Ronald D Musgrave was killed in action March 11, 1945 in the vicinity of Rheinberg, Germany. He is buried at Marion Cemetery, Marion, Ohio.
