S/Sgt Raymond B Thornton

S/Sgt Raymond B. Thornton was killed in action on Friday, July 14, 1944. Family legend has it that he was killed by a sniper in the battle for St. Lo, France.  He is buried at Highland Cemetery in his hometown of Winfield, Kansas.
