Bernard Leo Miller, son of Leonard and Eleanor Anna (Ludescher) Miller, was born July 13, 1919 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He registered for the draft October 16, 1940. At the time he was working at Western Fruit Express in St Paul, Minnesota. He was a truck driver in Battery B, 161st Field Artillery Battalion and was killed in action February 13, 1945 by an artillery blast in the vicinity of Randerath, Germany. Pfc Bernard L Miller is buried at Saint John the Baptist Cemetery, New Brighton, Minnesota.
