Warren Guy Hogan, son of Addison Kile and Mattie Jewel (Hennessee) Hogan, was born April 23, 1921 in Dallas, Texas. He married Jennie Marguerite Lathem on April 27, 1942 and the couple had a daughter, Amelia Ann. He was inducted into the Army February 4, 1942 at Dallas, Texas and served in Company A, 320th Infantry Regiment. He trained at Camp Rucker, Alabama and Camp Butner, North Carolina and departed for the ETO in May 1944. He billeted in England before sailing across the English Channel and landing at Omaha Beach, Normandy France on July 6, 1944. S/Sgt Warren G Hogan was killed in action July 12, 1944, just west of St Lo, France. He is buried at Sparkman Hillcrest Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas.
