Medical Detachment - 320th Infantry Regiment

Karl Martin Rague, son of Henry Samuel and Martha Catherine (Ziegler) Rague, was born May 29, 1917 in New Bremen, Ohio. He married Ragene Elizabeth Lamming in Washtenaw County, Michigan on June 4, 1942. He joined the Medical Detachment, 320th Infantry Regiment from the 170th General Hospital on January 6, 1945 as a medical officer in the 2nd Battalion. Capt Karl M Rague was seriously wounded in action January 9 in the vicinity of Martelange, Belgium and died of his wounds the following day, January 10, 1945. He is buried at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia.
