Company K - 320th Infantry Regiment

Maximiliano Secondino Ramirez, son of Maximiliano and Carmen Leonalda (Bonet) Ramirez, was born November 14, 1909 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He registered for the draft October 16, 1940. At the time he was living in New York City and working at ESM Auto Products Corp in Brooklyn. He was inducted into the Army October 9, 1943 and joined Company K, 320th Infantry Regiment as a Rifleman from the 38th Replacement Battalion on September 21, 1944. Pvt Maximiliano S Ramirez was killed in action October 2, 1944 in the vicinity of Foret de Gremecey, northeast of Nancy, France. He is buried at Lorraine American Cemetery, Saint-Avold, France.
