Carl Edward Rowe, son of Columbus Frank and Delia "Dealie" (Porter) Rowe, was born April 29, 1919 in Clark County, Arkansas. He was a Squad Leader in Company D, 320th Infantry Regiment and was seriously wounded in action by an artillery blast September 16, 1944 in the vicinity of Haraucourt/Buissoncourt, France. Sgt Carl E Rowe died of his wounds September 21, 1944. He is buried at Lorraine American Cemetery, Saint Avold, France.
