William Kinsey Seago, son of Benjamin Wilson and Anna Jane (Dickinson) Seago, was born June 9, 1921 in Big Sandy Texas. He moved to Louisiana sometime between 1930 and 1940. When he was 20 years old he registered for the draft. At the time he was living in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and working at the Louisiana State Bank in Baton Rouge. Pfc William K Seago was a Rifleman in Company C, 320th Infantry Regiment. Originally reported missing, he was later confirmed killed in action August 12, 1944 in the vicinity of Mortain, France. He is buried at Brittany-American Cemetery Saint-James, France.
