Wilfred John Warhurst was born October 23, 1917 in Kearny, New Jersey. He joined Service Company, 320th Infantry Regiment from the 48th Replacement Battalion on December 17 and was transferred to Company C on December 20, 1944. He was seriously wounded by artillery shrapnel on January 12 near Lutrebois, Belgium and was transferred to the 16th Field Hospital where he died of his wounds January 19, 1945. Pvt Wilfred J Warhurst is buried at Luxembourg American Cemetery, Hamm, Luxembourg.
