134th Infantry Regiment - Company L

Pvt Rudy J. Abraham, son of Joseph and Anna Abraham, was born April 18, 1924 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was inducted into the Army on July 7, 1943. Company L landed on Omaha Beach at 1100 hours (11 AM) on Thursday, July 6, 1944. He was seriouly wounded in action July 19, 1944 in the battle for St. Lo, France when he suffered shrapnel wounds to his face. He died of his wounds the following day, July 20, 1944.
