Pfc. John F. Ahrens entered service on March 23, 1942. He served as a rifleman earning a Combat Infantryman Badge - Expert Rifle. He participated in the Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe Campaigns. His date of separation was November 4, 1945. He entered and separated from service at Ft. Snelling, Minnesota. John Ahrens passed away in 1998.
