"All Hell Can't Stop Us"

35th Infantry Division emblem

Captured Nazi Flag

From the collection of S/Sgt Marvin M. Krebill

The flag is a banner to hang on the wall much like a tapestry or on the front of a building. It has a row of lead shot on one end for down weight and a pole pocket on the other end for hanging. Because of its size it could also have been used on the front of a large lectern. It is signed by the following soldiers:

Lt. Joe Hein
Pfc. James Keister
Pfc. Harry A. Krantz (Medic)
Pfc. Jose I. Lovato
Sgt. Steve Lynch
S/Sgt. Ernest E. Proffitt
Pfc Robert R. Richardson
Pfc. Oren Roland
Pvt. Walter Savitzki
Pfc. Joe Seiaman
S/Sgt. Floyd Sheffield
Pfc. Dale Shepherd
Pfc. Johnnie M. Shiver
Pfc. Luther Vernon

All of the men who signed the banner were from Company C, 134th Infantry. Almost all of them are listed on the 2nd Platoon, Company C roster shown below (date unknown - thanks to Mr. James Graff for this roster).
