2022 Avery Grave Visit
The video below was created during my 2022 visit to Redditch, UK to honor my deceased dog who I named Avery when I adopted him in 2008. Avery passed away in May 2021 shortly after
his 14th birthday. Now my two favorite Averys can be together forever. Click the photo below to start the video.
A special thank you goes to Raymond McLaren of Headless Cross, Redditch who first located William Avery's grave (1832-1899) in 2018 and acted as the videographer for this video.
To date 227 Avery style needle cases have been discovered. Visit these pages to see photographs of each design as
well as the original design registration or patent and gain knowledge about variations within each design.
In 2013 an Avery Survey was created in order to gather as much information as possible about Avery style needle cases from
collectors and interested parties around the world. The Avery Survey is easy to complete and gives you a chance to
contribute to this important research. Be sure and stop here to see the survey results.
